Dear Sir/Madam, I hope you are doing well. I am an Indian passport holder, currently living and working in Ireland, and I hold a valid Irish Residence Permit (IRP). I am planning to travel to Albania and would like to clarify the visa requirements for my situation. After reviewing the information available on your website, I could not find specific guidance regarding Irish Residence Permit holders. Therefore, I kindly request clarification on the following: Do I need to apply for an e‑Visa, or Should I apply for a visa through the consulate, or Am I eligible for visa‑free entry / visa on arrival based on my Irish Residence Permit? Based on publicly available visa information, it appears that Indian passport holders require a visa to enter Albania unless they hold a valid multiple‑entry Schengen, US, or UK visa, or a residence permit from a Schengen country, the US, or the UK. Since an Irish Residence Permit is not listed among these exemptions in the referenced sources, I would appreciate official confirmation from the Embassy. Your guidance will help me proceed with the correct application process. Since I have contacted the Albania support team they have told me to contact you since Ireland doesn’t have a consulate or embassy here.Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I look forward to your reply.
